No Hope

ABOUT

Tim Aumiller and Scott Schneider began writing and producing in the fall of 2003, the year they founded NO HOPE and debuted their first full length musical, DOSE!.  Since, they have written four more full-length musicals and presented more than a dozen evenings of new music including two sold out shows at the legendary Joe’s Pub – Siren/Kings In Concert and their anniversary celebration Pulling The Plug: a decade of NO HOPE. Hello, My Name Is Billy was a FringeNYC award winner and a Backstage “Critic’s Pick.” Hailed as a “rocking new musical,” BILLY ran downtown for six weeks in the spring of 2010 before its 2011 FringeNYC run at Le Poisson Rouge. NO HOPE has produced four other original FringeNYC selections: angel/buddy; Flight (also a Backstage “Critic’s Pick"), Over and Over (a Fringe Encore Series selection) and the critically lauded Luke Nicholas (4 stars from Time Out). They have been invited to participate in several developmental workshops including New York Theatre Barn’s New Works Series and IN THE WORKS (Honeck/Moss Productions), and have performed twice in the year-end gala at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre. On film, their song “Fools Like You” was featured in the award-winning documentary Actress and their first music video for “Evolution” featuring Siren was released in the Fall of 2017. Sheet music for their compositions is available through The NO HOPE Songbook Volume I: 2003-2013 (published by Scissortail Press), which includes their MAC Award nominated song “So Many Reasons.”
